A PLAYSET
Why a playset? This was a bit of a surprise to us once our son became old enough to play at the park. We purchased the playset before we even knew about allergies, but have quickly realized it’s been sugh a nice thing to have with food allergies.
Going out into a public space with a toddler who has food allergies can bring anxiety! You CAN go to a public park, absolutely! It does bring a slight amount of risk, so we absolutely love having the option to just go right outside our back door and have fun on our own, allergy-safe, playset.

AIRDOCTOR AIR PURIFIER
Not only does our son have food allergies, but he also has some environmental allergens – we don’t know the extent of them yet, just that he gets uncomfortable (and a little bit miserable) in peak-allergen seasons. We also learned from our allergist that eczema can be related to dust mites (yuck!), so we wanted to make sure we could keep our air and space as clean as possible.
During peak allergy seasons, he gets itchy and has watery eyes so it can be tricky sometimes to know if he is reacting to a new food or just having a reaction to the pollen in the air. Purchasing the AirDoctor Air Purifier has brought him comfort while being inside at home and has allowed us to manage both his environmental allergens and his food allergies by being able to try new foods with more clarity about what is causing the reaction.
DYSON VACUUM WITH HEPA FILTER
Again, related to environmental allergens! Our regular old vacuum wasn’t picking up all of the itty bitty tiny allergens that were hanging around in our old carpet. The amount of tiny particles that could be causing him to react that are picked up by this Dyson Vacuum is AMAZING. I feel so much better about him crawling on the carpet, putting his face on the rugs, and just being a toddler because I know we’ve used the highest quality vacuum to ensure his safety.
DEEP FREEZER
One thing that has made living with food allergies astronomically easier is making safe foods in bulk and putting them in the freezer. This would not be possible without a deep freeze! Our fridge freezer gets filled up so quickly, so it’s so important to have some extra space to put all of our yummy, safe goodies. I’ll make a big batch of muffins, put them in the freezer, and pop one out when we need one! So convenient!
NUNA REVV CARSEAT
