Are you here because you JUST discovered a food allergy? Take a breath, Mama. Seriously. Take a breath and relax those shoulders. Phew.
I know the overwhelm of a food allergy diagnosis. When my son was diagnosed with a peanut allergy at 6 months old and then dairy & cashew a few months later, I felt both overwhelmed knowing that I DIDN'T know anything and surely there was so much to learn, but also internet searches were full of non-specific information that wasn't that helpful and Facebook allergy groups were full of fear and anxiety...I didn't need more of that, I held enough for myself + everyone else.
So. Because you are in this unique stage of your allergy journey, take it slow. Learning new things, especially when it comes to health & life, can be A LOT. Start your learning journey, but give yourself grace to say, "Not yet."
Do you need to know how to order food a restaurant right now? Probably not, say "not yet." Do you need to know how to travel with food allergies? Probably not right now. Say, "not yet." It's OKAY to not tackle every life situation in the beginning. Focus on the essentials and be at peace with knowing you are making progress with each new food tried and new thing learned.
So when you are ready, whenever that may be, my resources and information will be here for you to help guide you as you start taking baby steps. If that's not yet, that's okay. Start when you're ready, and in the meantime, love on that little child of yours and know they are perfect. God made you to be their mama. You. One thing I know....you got this.
